San Miguel Shopping is an amazingly unique experience found in inspired artisan stores and markets set on cobblestone streets located near and around the town center. You can find almost everything that you are looking for and more so what you are not looking for from different spices, beautiful flowers, to exotic fruits and vegetables to authentic Mexican Cowboy clothes to copper and tin pots and much more. You can definitely find that one of a kind item due to the huge population of gifted and talented artisans. Without exception San Miguel de Allende has been able to keep out expanding society at large from over taking the small but refreshing mom and pop stores. However, tourists from all around the world are beginning to take notice of such a small jewel of a town located in the heart of Mexico. The majority of these small boutiques and markets open daily between the hours of 9 a.m. till around 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 ish a.m. till 3 p.m. on Saturdays.
